What size connection does this plug use, and is it metric?

it's a metric connection. Specifically M16 x 1.5 on the male side, so it'll thread into any port or fitting that takes that same metric pitch. The plug body is SS316 stainless with a Viton seal built in, and it measures 22mm across the wrench flats with an overall length of 17.2mm.

got a port thats m16 x 1.5 male, is this the right plug for it?

This plug has an M16 x 1.5 male connection on side 1, so it matches a metric M16 x 1.5 male thread callout.
