trying to tie two 3/4 jic male ends together in a straight shot, is this the right union?

For joining two male JIC terminations, this union is set up with female JIC on both sides. Each end is 3/4 inch JIC with a 1-1/16-12 UN thread, so it matches up cleanly when both sides are the same size and thread.

both sides are 3/4 JIC female, so what exactly sits in the middle connecting them? trying to wrap my head around how this union works before I order

Both ends of the fitting accept male JIC terminations, and the union body joins them inline in a straight configuration. So if you've got two hydraulic lines that each end in a male 3/4" JIC fitting, this piece connects them directly. The thread callout on each side is 1-1/16-12 UN, and the body runs 61mm long. Wrench flats are 32mm on both sides, so you can hold one end and tighten the other without the whole fitting spinning on you.
