got a 1/4" JIC male fitting on my hydraulic line and need to tie into a 1/8 BSPT port, this the right adapter for that?

Yeah, that's exactly what this fitting is built for. One end is a 7/16-20 UNF male JIC thread, which corresponds to a 1/4" JIC connection, and the other end is an R 1/8-28 male BSPT. So if you've got a female JIC on your line and a female BSPT port on the component you're connecting to, this one drops right in.

Built as a straight adapter, it connects a male JIC on side 1 to a male BSPT on side 2. Side 1 is 7/16-20 UNF (JIC, 1/4 inch size) and side 2 is R 1/8-28 (BSPT, 1/8 inch size).
