trying to swap a line over and i’ve got a G 3/4 - 14 port on one side and 1/2 - 14 NPTF on the other. is this the right adapter?

It’s set up exactly for that mix of threads, with a male BSPP G 3/4 - 14 on Side 1 and a male NPTF 1/2 - 14 on Side 2, in a straight fitting.

Got a system running BSPP on one end and NPT on the other, does this fitting bridge that gap without needing any adapters in between?

That's what it's built for. One side is a 3/4 inch male BSPP (G 3/4 - 14) and the other is a 1/2 inch male NPTF (1/2 - 14), so it connects those two thread standards directly in a single fitting. No extra adapters stacked in line. The straight body keeps everything compact, and at 46.7mm long with a 32mm wrench width, it fits into tighter spots without much fuss.
