Reckon this would hold up okay in a marine environment?

Got a hydraulic line running BSPP on one end and JIC on the other, will this adapter hold up in a saltwater wash-down environment, or do I need something different?

For saltwater and high-moisture environments, 316 stainless steel is one of the better material choices you can make. It handles corrosion and chemical exposure a lot better than standard carbon steel fittings, which tend to rust out fast in those conditions. The O-ring on the BSPP face helps keep the seal tight, so you're not relying solely on thread contact to hold back leaks. For marine or wash-down applications, this is a solid fit.

got a hose end with 1-7/8-12 JIC male on it, will this adapter match up on that side?

On the JIC end, it uses a 1-7/8 - 12 UN male thread in the 1-1/2 inch size, so it is meant to mate with a matching 1-1/2 inch JIC female connection.
