got a hose end that’s 3/4 JIC, will this adapter mate up to it and what’s on the other side?

On the JIC side it is a male 3/4 inch connection with a 1-1/16 - 12 UN thread. The other end is a male BSPP 1 inch connection with a G 1 - 11 thread and it seals with an O-ring.

Will this fitting hold up if it's constantly exposed to hydraulic fluid?

Got a piece of equipment running BSPP ports and all my lines are JIC fittings, will this adapter actually bridge that gap without needing anything extra in between?

That's what this fitting handles. One end is a 3/4" male JIC (1-1/16 - 12 UN thread) and the other is a 1" male BSPP (G 1 - 11 thread) with an o-ring included. So as long as your JIC and BSPP ports are those sizes, you're connecting directly with one piece, no extra hardware needed.
