got a hose end with 3/4-16 UNF JIC male on it and need to go into G 1/2-14 BSPP. is that what this adapter’s for?

For joining those two thread standards, it’s a straight stainless adapter with a 3/4 - 16 UNF male JIC on Side 1 and a G 1/2 - 14 male BSPP on Side 2, both in 1/2 inch size.

Got a piece of equipment running a G 1/2 BSPP port on one end and a JIC fitting on the other, this adapter bridge that gap or am I looking at the wrong part?

Right application for this one. The SS9002-08-08 puts a 3/4-16 UNF male JIC on one side and a G 1/2-14 male BSPP on the other, so it connects those two thread standards directly in a straight inline configuration. Both sides are 1/2 inch nominal size, and the O-ring on the BSPP end handles the seal without needing thread tape or any additional sealant.
