Product Questions & Answers

Got a piece of equipment running BSPP ports and my hydraulic line ends in a JIC fitting. Will this adapter work to connect the two without needing extra fittings in between?
Question by: Sheila A on Apr 17, 2025, 5:55 PM
Yeah, that's exactly what this one's built for. One end is a 9/16-18 UNF JIC male and the other is a G 3/8-19 BSPP male, so it bridges those two thread standards in a single straight fitting. Both sides are 3/8" size, so as long as your line and port match up to those specs, you're good to go without stacking additional adapters.

Just want to be sure -- this adapter goes from a JIC to a BSPP fitting, right? Both 3/8"?
Question by: Larry C on May 2, 2025, 2:01 PM
That's correct. It adapts a 9/16 - 18 UNF JIC male connection to a G 3/8 - 19 BSPP male connection, both sides being 3/8" in size.

got a hose end that’s -6 JIC male, and the port on the block is G 3/8-19 BSPP. is this the right adapter to tie those together?
Question by: Glen C on Jun 10, 2025, 8:16 AM
For that mix of threads, yes. Side 1 is a 9/16-18 UNF JIC male and Side 2 is a G 3/8-19 BSPP male, both in 3/8 inch size, so it’s made to bridge a -6 JIC connection over to a 3/8 BSPP port.
