One end threads into a female DIN L28 port with M36 x 2.0 threads, and the other end is a male DIN L22 connection with M30 x 2.0 threads. So it's stepping down between two different DIN tube sizes in a straight line. Both sides follow DIN tube standards, just at different sizes.
