stainless steel is what you're getting, so it should hold up well in systems that deal with corrosive fluids or operate in harsh conditions.

got two DIN tube ends that are both M14 x 1.5, will this union join em straight in-line?

Built as a straight DIN tube union with male L08 DIN tube ends on both sides, it connects two matching DIN tube ends that use M14 x 1.5 threads.
