Product Questions & Answers

what temp range does this o-ring handle? got equipment running pretty hot and just want to make sure it ain't gonna break down on me
Question by: Shane H on Mar 2, 2026, 9:26 PM
Buna-N at 90 durometer runs from -40 up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, so it holds up through cold startups and sustained heat without going soft or cracking prematurely. That range covers most hydraulic system operating conditions without issue.

For a 0.75 inch SAE J518 split flange fitting or adapter, this is the matching split flange O-ring size. It is the -12 dash size, with a 0.984 inch ID and 1.262 inch OD, so it lines up with that 0.75 flange application.

got a 3/4 inch SAE J518 split flange fitting that needs a new o-ring, this the right one for that size?
Question by: Warren B on Dec 15, 2025, 8:53 PM
For a 3/4 inch SAE J518 split flange fitting, yes this is the correct o-ring. The flange size is 0.75 inches, the inside diameter measures 0.984 inches, and the outside diameter comes in at 1.262 inches with a width of 0.139 inches. Those dimensions are built specifically around the J518 standard for that flange size, so it should drop right in where your old one came out.
