Got a 5-inch shaft I need to retain on some farm equipment, this the right ring for that application?

For a 5-inch shaft diameter, this is the correct fit. The ring is spec'd with a shaft diameter of 5 inches and a groove diameter of 4.79 inches, so it seats properly in the groove without slop.
