got a bunch of standard fittings around the shop. what pressure is this hose rated to handle if I aint using those global fittings

Using standard or non-Global fittings drops the maximum operating pressure down to 2000 PSI. For the full 2900 PSI rating you would need to stick with Global style fittings.

got a -8 hose on a machine now. is this one actually 1/2 inch ID, and what’s the OD on it?

It is a -8 dash hose with a 0.50 inch inside diameter. Outside diameter is listed at 0.81 inch, which helps when you are checking clamps, routing, or bulkhead clearances.

got a tight spot to snake a line through. how tight can i bend this GH663-8R500 hose without kinking it

For routing in a cramped area, the minimum bend radius on the GH663-8R500 is 3.54 inches. Staying at or above that bend radius helps keep the hose from being forced into a kinked bend.
