got a -6 hose on my machine now. is this one actually 3/8 id and what’s the outside diameter on it

For dash size -6, the inside diameter on this hose is 0.38 inch, and the outside diameter is 0.69 inch.

running a rig that hits about 3000 psi pretty regular. is this rated for that much pressure

Hitting 3000 PSI is fine as long as you use Global fittings. The maximum operating pressure is 3400 PSI with those specific fittings. If you attach any other type of fitting, the safety rating drops down to 2250 PSI.
