Product Questions & Answers

running some new lines on my tractor and need to know the actual working pressure for this 1/4 inch hose. seen a couple different numbers.
Question by: Rick W on Jun 7, 2025, 9:31 PM
Maximum operating pressure depends entirely on the fittings you attach. When paired with Global fittings, the rating reaches 3700 PSI. If you use any other style of fitting, the safe working pressure drops down to 2750 PSI.

trying to swap out a 1/4 inch hose on my equipment, is this one actually 1/4 ID and what’s the outside measure?
Question by: Chad T on Oct 10, 2025, 2:51 PM
For sizing, the inside diameter is 0.25 inch and the outside diameter is 0.53 inch. It is a -4 dash single wire braid hose, so it matches the common 1/4 inch ID hydraulic hose size.

hose rated for water-glycol fluid or just straight petroleum stuff?
Question by: Johnny S on Feb 9, 2026, 3:10 PM
Water-glycol base fluids are specifically listed as compatible alongside petroleum-based fluids, so you're covered on both fronts. It also handles lubricating oils and water. The synthetic rubber tube and nitrile blend cover are what make it suitable across that range of fluid types.
