trying to swap out a 1 inch hose on my hydraulic setup. is this one actually 1.00 ID and what’s the outside size?

The inside diameter is 1.00 inch and the outside diameter is 1.41 inches. It is a -16 dash size hose with a minimum bend radius of 5.91 inches, so it needs a little room to make a clean turn.

got a 1-inch ID hydraulic line running petroleum-based fluid on some farm equipment, pressures stay around 1200 PSI most of the time. this hose rated for that kind of duty?

Running at 1200 PSI puts you well within the rated ceiling of 1500 PSI, so that's no problem at all. The hose is built specifically for petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, and with 400,000 impulse cycles on the rating, it holds up through continuous working conditions without issue.
