got a -6 line on a piece of equipment, is this the right hose size or am i thinkin of something else

For dash size, this one is a -6 hose with a 0.38 inch inside diameter. If your current hose is marked -6, the ID matches what you are replacing.

what's the pressure rating on this hose and is it consistent across all sizes, or does the -6 drop off compared to the bigger ones?

For a -6 (0.38 inch ID) FC639-06 hose, the minimum bend radius is 2.5 inches. Staying at or above that radius is the safe limit given for the hose.
