Product Questions & Answers

What kind of fluids can this hose handle?
Question by: Danny M on Apr 14, 2025, 12:56 PM
It's designed for use with refined petroleum-based fluids, along with water-based options. It’s also recommended for high-pressure oil lines, especially on construction and off-highway gear.

i’ve got a -4 line on a piece of equipment, is this the right size hose or am i lookin at the wrong thing
Question by: Lynn B on Oct 28, 2025, 2:34 PM
For sizing, this one is a dash -4 hose with a 0.25 inch inside diameter and about a 0.59 inch outside diameter. If your setup calls for a -4 hose size, that matches the ID on this hose.

Running a skid steer on a tight job site and need to know the minimum bend radius on this hose before I route it through a real cramped spot. What are we working with?
Question by: Dwayne H on Jun 3, 2025, 1:10 PM
Two inches is the minimum bend radius on this hose. That's pretty tight for a 1/4 inch line, which gives you decent flexibility when you're working around frame rails or fitting it through close quarters on compact equipment. Just don't force it tighter than that or you risk kinking and losing flow.

got a tight spot to route a 1/4 inch line, how sharp can i bend this hose without kinkin it
Question by: Rhonda T on Feb 3, 2026, 9:37 AM
For routing, the minimum bend radius on this hose is 2 inches. Staying at or above that bend radius helps keep it from kinking and keeps the reinforcement doing its job.
