got a 1/4 npt air line already, is this cylinder set up for that or am i gonna need adapters?

Good news on hookups, it comes with 1/4 NPT ports, so standard 1/4 NPT air fittings will thread right in.

You'd want the 117555-17 rod clevis and pin, which is listed as a compatible accessory.

barrel and rod on this thing stainless steel, or is that just the finish? asking cause we run a pretty wet environment and rust has killed more than a few cylinders on us

Both are actually stainless. The barrel is drawn and polished 304 stainless steel, and the piston rod is centerless ground 303 stainless steel. So you're not dealing with a coating that wears off over time. For a wet or humid environment, that construction holds up considerably better than chrome-plated steel alternatives.
