got a tight spot for the handle, can that socket be turned around to get it where i need it?

For handle positioning, the socket can be rotated a full 360 degrees, so you can clock it to whatever angle fits your setup best.

For awkward clearances, the handle socket can be rotated a full 360 degrees so you can position the handle where it’s easiest to pump.

how much torque can you put on the handle before you risk damaging it?
Question by: Roger R on Apr 17, 2025, 12:48 PM
Eighty foot-pounds is the published maximum handle torque for this pump. Stay under that and you're in good shape for normal operation. Push past it and you're asking for wear or damage to the mechanism over time.

What's the torque I should use when I'm putting this hand pump in?

For installation, you'll want to lubricate the seals and then use a 1-1/4 wrench to torque it to about 50 foot pounds.
