With the built in pressure compensated bypass flow control, flow out of each work port stays constant even when the load changes, and the lever movement meters flow to the work port proportionally.

The flow control adjusts across a full 0 to 12 GPM range, and it's pressure compensated, so the flow out of the work ports stays consistent even when the load changes. That's the part that makes it useful for cylinder work where you want repeatable speed without chasing the control every time conditions shift. The bypass-type design handles the excess flow automatically, and movement of the lever is directly proportional to what reaches the work port, so you've got real hands-on control through the whole range.

A 30-micron filter is recommended to keep this valve running smoothly for as long as possible.
