Think of it as the hardware that holds an SD8 sectional valve stack together. The SD8 series is a sectional valve that can be built up from 1 to 12 sections, and a tie rod kit is used to clamp and keep that stack aligned as an assembly.

Rated up to 4600 PSI maximum operating pressure, so it holds up well in demanding hydraulic setups. Keep in mind the outlet port T has a separate back pressure limit of 360 PSI, so that side of the circuit needs attention too when you're sizing things out.
