fitting's 2 inches long with 3/8 NPT threads, that right? trying to match up a replacement for one that gave out on me

that's correct. It runs 2.00 inches in length and carries 3/8-18 Male NPT threads on both ends, so if that matches what you're pulling out, you're looking at a straight swap. Schedule 80 wall thickness gives it extra beef over standard pipe fittings, which helps if the old one wore out under pressure.

got a manifold with 3/8-18 female npt ports. is this nipple the right thread and length for that
