Will this nipple work for hooking up some black iron pipe in my garage?

thread on this nipple, is it a standard NPT or something proprietary? got a 1-1/4 female fitting on my compressor line and wanna make sure it'll mate up right before I order

Standard NPT all the way. The 1-1/4-11-1/2 thread spec is straight National Pipe Taper, so it'll mate with any female NPT fitting of the same size. That 11-1/2 number just refers to the thread count per inch, which is the normal spec for 1-1/4 NPT. If your compressor fitting is stamped or listed as 1-1/4 NPT female, you're good to go.

got a 1-1/4 npt port and need a 4 inch nipple, is this one threaded 1-1/4-11-1/2 on both ends?
