runs at 5000 psi all day long on a refuse hauler, will internal leakage be a problem over time?

At full rated pressure, maximum internal leakage on this valve is 5 drops per minute. For a refuse hauler running continuous duty at high pressure, that's a pretty tight spec and should hold up well under normal operating conditions. The cartridge body is hardened and ground steel, so it's not going to wear fast on the internal seating surfaces. Keep your fluid clean at ISO 4406 level 18/16/13 or better and you'll get the most life out of it.

got a valve bank that’s already cut for a C-12-2 cavity. will this SBV11-12-C screw right in, or am i missing something?

It’s a screw-in cartridge built for the C-12-2 cavity size, and it does require a machined cavity or housing to install. Keep in mind this SKU is the cartridge only, so the housing is sold separately and the coil is not included.

No, this solenoid cartridge valve requires a machined cavity or housing for installation, specifically a C-12-2 size. It's sold separately.
