Flow rate on this one says 25 GPM, that enough to keep up with a mid-size hydraulic system runnin continuous duty, or is that more of a peak figure?

25 GPM is the rated flow capacity for this filter head, so for a system that runs at or under that throughput, it should handle the load without issue. If your circuit regularly pushes close to that ceiling under continuous operation, just make sure your filter element and downstream hydraulic connections are sized to match so you don't create a restriction. The 3/4 NPT ports help keep things flowing clean on standard industrial setups.
