Product Questions & Answers

got a suction line that needs 3/4 inch inside diameter, is this the right size hose?
Question by: Lance H on Apr 14, 2025, 2:15 PM
The inside diameter on this hose is 0.75 inch and the outside diameter is 1.21 inch, so it matches a 3/4 inch ID suction line requirement.

running hot hydraulic oil through this on a tractor setup. whats the highest temp it can handle without breaking down
Question by: Rex F on Oct 23, 2025, 10:21 AM
Fluid temperatures up to 275 degrees Fahrenheit are perfectly fine for that AQP inner tube. It handles standard petroleum hydraulic fluids without an issue and is rated all the way down to negative 40 degrees if you run equipment in the winter.

How flexible is this hose, really? I need something that can bend without kinking up too bad.
Question by: Kirk W on Nov 5, 2025, 10:00 AM
With a minimum bend radius of 2.5 inches, this hose offers good flexibility for routing in tight spaces while still maintaining flow.

Running a 3/4 inch suction line off a hydraulic tank and need something that can pull a decent vacuum without collapsing. This hose rated for that kind of duty?
Question by: Hugh M on Jan 21, 2026, 4:02 PM
Vacuum service up to 28 inHg is within its range, and the helical wire reinforcement in the wall is specifically what keeps it from collapsing under suction. Plenty of suction line setups run right in that neighborhood, so the construction here is well matched to that kind of application.
