What's the thread size on the male end of this fitting, and is it NPT?

Male NPT, sized at 1/8 inch. That's the 0.125 inch end size listed for this assembly, so it'll thread into any standard 1/8 NPT female port without adapters or modification.

Can this Everswage top assembly handle, like, normal hydraulic pressures without blowing apart?

trying to swap out a top assembly on a -4 hose, is this one set up with a 1/8 male pipe thread?

It matches a -4 hose dash size and the pipe end is a 0.125 inch male NPT (MPT), so it lines up with 1/8 inch male pipe thread connections.
