This a genuine Permco part or one of them aftermarket knockoffs? Trying to rebuild a 2500 series pump and don't want to mess it up with something that don't fit right.

Sourced directly from Permco, so it's the real deal. OEM parts like this matter on a rebuild because the dimensions are matched to the original housing specs. Aftermarket pieces can be close but close ain't always close enough when you're trying to keep seals seated right and stop fluid from bypassing where it shouldn't.
