what's the actual orifice size on this thing, and is it fixed or can it be adjusted at all?

Fixed at .062 inches and stays that way. There's no adjustment built into this fitting. It's a static restriction, so the flow rate it allows is set by that orifice diameter and the pressure conditions in your system. If you need a different flow rate down the road, you'd be swapping it out for a different orifice size rather than tuning this one.
