Does this repair kit come with everything needed, or are there parts I gotta source separate, like thread sealant or check valves?

No thread sealant, check valves, or any electrical components are included, and that's by design. The RSM1000K keeps things simple by leaving out those add-ons so you're not paying for hardware you may already have on hand or don't need for your specific repair.
