what fitting style is this mandrel built for, and is it specific to one size or can it handle a range?

Built specifically for fitting style 401-6 in the SAE standard, this mandrel is purpose-matched to that configuration. It is not a universal tool meant to cover multiple sizes or styles. If your reusable fitting assemblies fall under that 401-6 designation, you are in the right place. For anything outside that spec, you would need a different mandrel matched to that fitting style.
