does this unit need any kind of check valve installed with it, or is it ready to go as-is?
Question by: Jerry M on May 4, 2025, 3:45 PM
No check valve is needed with this one. It also goes in without any threading sealants, so you're not looking at a bunch of extra prep work before getting it installed. Pretty straightforward setup overall.

Will this Permco part work as a direct swap for a C1DJ43?
Question by: Dean W on Feb 4, 2026, 9:50 PM
This R-0921 part is also known under the alternate part number C1DJ43, so it should be a suitable replacement.

trying to swap out an old permco unit, is R-0921 the right part number for this 2500 5000CRW-MCGIL?
Question by: Neal A on Mar 31, 2026, 11:28 AM
For fit and replacement ID, the supplier part number on this unit is R-0921, and it also cross-references to alternate part number C1DJ43. If your old component matches either of those numbers, you are looking at the same part.
