For typical compressed air instrumentation lines and cooling circuits, 250 psi is right in the normal working range. Most shop air systems run well below that, and light-duty cooling and lubrication circuits rarely push anywhere close to that ceiling. Where this fitting starts to fall short is in heavier hydraulic applications that see sustained high pressures. Stick to pneumatic, instrumentation, or low-pressure fluid lines and that 250 psi rating gives you plenty of headroom.
