Product Questions & Answers

Need some clear line for a drink setup so i can see flow, is this tubing actually ok for food contact?
Question by: Frank M on Mar 24, 2026, 5:40 PM
For food and beverage work where you want to visually monitor flow, the clear PVC construction fits that use and it is both NSF-51 certified and FDA approved for contact with food-grade media.

What kind of fittings work with this clear tubing?
Question by: Neil C on Jun 8, 2025, 12:24 PM
This tubing is qualified for use with Polyline, SelfAlign (with a 2030x insert), Compression (also with a 2030x insert), and Molded Compression fittings, so you have a few options depending on your setup.

tubing says it's food grade, is it actually cleared for contact with what's going inside the line, or is that just a general rating?
Question by: Chad R on Dec 13, 2025, 10:07 AM
NSF-51 certification and FDA approval both specifically cover food-contact materials, so this tubing meets those standards for direct contact with food and beverage media. The clear PVC construction is also useful in those setups because you can see flow or any discoloration without pulling the line apart. That combination is why it gets used in food and beverage applications rather than just general industrial runs.
