Inside a hydraulic cylinder, the piston seal is the piece that helps hold pressure on the piston side and keeps fluid from leaking past it. Its job is to maintain pressure and prevent leaks so the cylinder and hydraulic system stay efficient.

cross-referencing part numbers here, does PS1800-52 match up with C1DH79 or MI-01036797? trying to confirm i got the right seal before i pull the cylinder apart
Question by: Janice R on Oct 7, 2025, 9:26 PM
All three of those numbers refer to the same part. PS1800-52 is the Hercules Sealing Products SKU, and C1DH79 along with MI-01036797 and MINO-00407X30108 are alternate part numbers that cross-reference to it. If any of those showed up on your old seal or your parts list, you're looking at the right replacement.
