got a cylinder with a 5 inch bore. is this the right Style 2700 piston seal for it, or am I gonna be fighting the fit

It's designed for a 5-inch bore. The piston diameter itself is just a hair under that, at 4.999 inches, with a tolerance of +0/-0.014 inches.
