What kind of pressure can this handle? I'm using it for a pretty standard setup but want to be sure.

This coupler is rated to handle pressures up to 150 PSI in sizes from 1/2" to 4".

Safety clip's got my attention, but how's it actually work on this coupler? Is it something that locks in automatically or do you have to set it yourself?

Once the cam levers are engaged and the lugs pass through the slots in the lever arms, you insert a safety pin through those lugs manually. That pin physically blocks the coupler from being pulled apart until you remove it. Nothing snaps in on its own, it's a deliberate step, which is kind of the point. Keeps things from coming undone by accident during transfer use.

For a 1-1/2 inch hose, this part matches that size with a 1-1/2 inch hose shank on the female half cam and groove coupler.
