what's the working pressure rating on this tube support for plastic tubing, and does that 2000 psi number still apply or is it different since it's going on plastic?

For plastic tubing, the 2000 psi rating with a 4:1 safety factor applies to metal tubing configurations. When you're running plastic tubing, the pressure limit follows whatever that specific tubing is rated for, not the 2000 psi figure. The fitting itself is CA360 brass and built to handle it, but the tubing becomes the limiting factor in that setup.

got plastic tubing that keeps wanting to collapse at the compression nut, is this the little insert that fixes that for 1/2 OD line?
