got some 3/8 plastic tubing, is this the right insert/support for it or am i mixin parts up

For 3/8 inch tube OD plastic tubing, this tube support (2030X6) is the insert used with Weatherhead brass compression fittings. Plastic tubing, except for Eaton PT230, requires the 2030 insert.

Plastic tubing is exactly what this support is built around. It pairs with a brass compression fitting and is compatible with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing. Steel tubing is not recommended. Just make sure to follow the temperature limits specific to whatever plastic tubing you are running, since those ratings can differ from the metal tubing range.
