clockwise rotation only on this one, or can it be flipped to run CCW if needed?

Rotation can actually be changed on these pumps by reversing the position of the drive shaft and driven shaft and rotating the front flange. It ships standard with clockwise rotation, but you're not locked into that if your setup calls for something different.
