This SPX PE17 series pump is designed for use with both single and double-acting cylinders, providing versatility for various hydraulic applications.

Works with either style. It is built to run both single-acting and double-acting cylinders and has a manual valve you shift to extend or retract, plus a hold position.

Flow drops off as pressure builds, which is pretty normal for a 2-speed setup. At zero PSI you're looking at 290 cubic inches per minute, and that falls to 190 at 100 PSI. Once you get up into working range around 5,000 PSI it's down to 20 cubic inches per minute, and at full 10,000 PSI it settles at 16. So you get decent speed on the approach stroke before load builds up, then it shifts to the high-pressure low-flow range to push through the work. That two-speed behavior is what makes it practical for both moving and pressing.
