We run air-powered tools all over the shop floor and been looking at switching to an air-driven hydraulic pump. Does this one need electricity at all to operate, or is it fully air-powered?

Fully air-powered. The PA17 uses a rotary-style air motor, so there's no electrical connection needed. That makes it a solid pick for shop floors where running power isn't practical or where sparks are a concern around flammable materials. It'll also start under full load, so you're not babying it to get it going.
