Does this seal kit only work on a specific Permco model, or is it a general-fit kind of thing?

Model-specific is the right way to put it. The P2500-T1 kit is built for the corresponding Permco unit, not as a universal fit across the Permco lineup. If your pump or motor matches the P2500-T1, you're good. If you're running a different Permco model, you'd need to pull the part number for that unit and confirm it lines up before ordering.

got a Permco pump thats starting to seep around the shaft, is this kit meant to fix that kind of leak
