What kind of environments is this pump best suited for? I'm running a pretty tough setup.

This Permco pump is really built for those heavy-duty industrial environments where you need something that's gonna run reliably day in and day out, even under high pressure.

got a Permco pump on the machine now, how do i know if this P197C486GAZA20-29 is the right replacement?

Match it up by part number. The supplier part number shown is P197C486GAZA20-, and the alternate part number is P197C486GAZA20-29. If your existing pump tag shows P197C486GAZA20-29 (or the same base number), you are looking at the same Permco pump identifier.

Been running Permco equipment for years and need to know, is this the P197C486GAZA20-29 or is the trailing "29" just a variation suffix? Want to make sure I'm ordering the right one before it ships.
Question by: Howard G on Feb 23, 2026, 10:28 AM
Both part numbers refer to the same unit. P197C486GAZA20- is the base SKU and P197C486GAZA20-29 is listed as an alternate part number for it, so you're looking at the same pump either way. If your existing equipment or paperwork shows either version, you're good to go with this one.
