trying to replace an o-ring on my SAE o-ring boss fitting, is this the one for 1/4 tube size?

For a 0.25 inch tube size SAE O-Ring Boss (straight thread O-ring) fitting or adapter, this one matches that tube size and uses a Buna-N material at 90 durometer. The seal dimensions are 0.351 inch ID, 0.495 inch OD, and 0.072 inch width.

For a 1/4 inch SAE O-Ring Boss straight thread fitting, this is the correct size. The o-ring measures 0.351 inches on the inside diameter, 0.495 inches on the outside diameter, and has a width of 0.072 inches. Those dimensions are spec'd for that fitting size, so you're in the right place.

It's made for a 0.25 inch SAE O-Ring Boss, which is also sometimes called a straight thread o-ring fitting.
