hose says it handles drilling mud and crude oil, but what about refined stuff like diesel or kerosene runnin through it?

Refined petroleum products are explicitly outside what this hose is rated for. The nitrile blend tube handles crude oil and drilling mud well, but refined fuels like diesel, kerosene, or gasoline are a different story chemically. Using it with those fluids would put you outside the rated application and could cause the tube to degrade. Stick to crude oil and drilling mud service and you'll be in the right territory with this one.
