what temp range is this nylon wear ring rated for, and will it hold up in a cylinder that runs pretty hot?

Rated from -40°F up to 250°F, so it handles a fair amount of heat without breaking down. For most hydraulic cylinders running warm under normal duty, that upper limit gives you solid headroom. If your cylinder is regularly pushing past 250°F at the seal area, that would be outside what this material is rated for.
