Product Questions & Answers

is this the right oil to run in an ARO airline lubricator, or do I need something different for that?
Question by: Merle R on Oct 28, 2025, 6:11 AM
For ARO FRL systems, this is exactly what's called for. It's a non-detergent, light-bodied oil with a viscosity in the 100-200 SSU range at 100 degrees F, which puts it squarely in the SAE 10 class. That weight is standard for airline lubricators and pneumatic control systems. The non-detergent formula matters here too since detergent oils can cause problems with seals and internal components in pneumatic equipment.

got a little ARO airline FRL on my line, is this the right kind of oil for the lubricator bowl?
Question by: Dean W on Jan 29, 2026, 9:13 PM
For an airline FRL lubricator setup, non-detergent lubricating oil is the intended type, and this one is specifically called out for professional use in airline FRL systems in a 1 quart bottle.
