got a spot on a skid where a straight fitting just ain't gonna work and a standard 90 cuts into the frame, would this swept elbow give me enough clearance to route the line without kinking it?

Swept 90s are built for exactly that kind of situation. The gradual curve on this fitting keeps the flow path smooth through the bend, so you're not forcing a hard angle that chokes off flow or stresses the hose at the exit point. Where a standard 90 would stick straight out and eat up space, the swept geometry hugs the routing a bit tighter, which is why folks reach for these when clearance is tight and a straight fitting just isn't an option.

tight spot on my hose run, would this swept 90 elbow help keep the flow up better than a sharp 90
Question by: Ray M on Jan 16, 2026, 6:07 AM
Compared to a standard 90 degree elbow, the swept 90 degree shape is meant to keep the turn smoother, which helps minimize pressure drop and maintain better flow in a hydraulic line, especially when you are squeezed for space.
